Etihad Airbus A340-600 A6-EHE operating EY38 Paris CDG – Abu Dhabi rapidly descended from 39,000 ft to 12,000 ft whilst crossing Bulgaria and then diverted to Istanbul whilst squawking the 7700 emergency code.
Etihad Airbus A330-242 A6-EYK operating EY48 Dublin – Abu Dhabi was at 24,000 close to Anglesey when it turned back and returned to Dublin. The aircraft was able to recommence the flight after around two hours on the ground at Dublin as EY48A.
Etihad Airbus A340-500 A6-EHA operating EY460 Abu Dhabi – Melbourne (depart Abu Dhabi 7th August) diverted to Jakarta today. The flight was able to continue Jakarta – Melbourne as EY460A. The diversion appears to have been medical.
